E-Jay Designs began as a freelance venture in 2010, with the very first project being a logo for a local church. By October 2020, it officially became a business built on the belief that our creative gifts are meant to be shared. From those beginnings, E-Jay Designs has grown into a trusted design partner focused on helping clients succeed through creativity, opportunity, and a family-first approach.

E-Jay Smith hails from the DMV area and holds a Bachelor's in Visual Communication and Digital Media Arts from Bowie State University, where he developed a strong foundation in graphic design and digital marketing. After graduating, E-Jay launched his career at CACI, Inc., where he honed his skills in communications, graphic design, web development, and digital marketing through roles such as Junior and Senior Designer, Web Developer, and Communications Support, specializing in project management, branding, and web design.
In 2010, E-Jay founded E-Jay Designs with the vision of making exceptional design accessible, fostering creativity, and enabling clients to make a lasting impression. Based in Waldorf, Maryland, he has grown the agency to serve over 100 clients, expanding services to include AI artistry, web development, digital marketing, and branding strategies. Outside of work, E-Jay enjoys unleashing his creativity in the kitchen with desserts and meals, exploring new design styles, engaging in fitness gaming, and traveling to diverse cultures.
